It's been too long

It's been a long time since I last posted.  A quick update...

We had a crazy snow storm about a month ago which resulted in quit a bit of flooding in Helena as the temperatures warmed up quickly.   We fortunately did not have any!  The kiddos playing in the snow, played on the 4 Wheeler and did a bit of sledding.  The days leading up to the snowstorm it was absolutely freezing - 26 one day, our doorknob inside the house was frozen, it was crazy.

Three weeks ago Brian was in Denver with work when he was needed in Boise Idaho for a week for a trial he had to testify at.  Instead of flying back to Helena he flew to Boise and the kids and I packed up the car and drove to Boise.  It was about 8 hours and the kids did great.  We had movies to keep Gav entertained, stopped at the park on the way and ate plenty of snacks.  We spent a week in Boise it was fantastic. Amazing weather, parks, feeding the geese, the zoo, museum, shopping, lots of walks and eating at some restaurants that Helena does not have:) We were known at the hotel, every morning when we went to breakfast we were all known by name and the ladies working the front desk and serving breakfast just loved the kids. One wonderful woman in particular had little gifts for Gav every morning.  From crayons to gummy candies - it was quit sweet!

Last week we again traveled with  Brian to Billings.  Again we had a nice time.  We spent time shopping, eating, we went to the circus - Gavin loved it (but what a strange place), we also went to a huge indoor water park - Gavin was in heaven - slides, basketball, tons of fun!!  Sage loved it too- she loves bobbing around in her floater.

Brian played in a Dodge Ball tournament put on by our church, everyone in Helena was invited to play.  It was huge, there were about 35 teams of 8.  Brian got a team together "The Untouchables"  they didn't win, but they got 4th and are going to "take it" next year:) He has been traveling a lot for work, but loving it.  He got to testify in his first trial - he was prepped quite a bit by the attorney's so I'm sure he nailed it!!  He is finally finishing up his final cases from Denver so he can focus solely on Montana.  He is counting down the days until he is a MT resident so he can hit the rivers and catch some fish.

Sage
9 months old already- time is just speeding past us, she is getting big way to fast.  I'm not sure where my little baby went...  We have her 9 month check up this week.  She sprouted her first tooth last week. It was quit traumatic, and we have a mouthful  to go:(  She puts everything in her mouth, it's ridiculous.  She loves to play at the dishwasher - yesterday I looked over at her and she had a baby spoon in her mouth and one in each hand -hilarious!  Sage absolutely loves her brother, she follows him everywhere he goes, laughs and everything he does even if he's being mean to her.

The kids are on their 4th or 5th cold now since we moved here - it's such a bummer. Hopefully the weather warms up quickly and the colds disappear!

Gavin
Gav continues to wow me.  He is so smart.  He can count to 10, knows his ABC's, loves books and has recently gotten really good at matching.  I am a super proud mama.  Brian and Gav have been playing a lot of golf with the little play set that Gavin has.  Gavin is actually really good - Brian can't wait to get him out on the range:)

Scott is planning a trip up here for Easter.  We are so excited to have him here.  And Teenan is coming up in May to help Brian work on our yard.  We can't wait to get that process going.  A fence for Izzy, some grass and warm weather to go with it so we can just be outside!!
